What is SafeSend Organizers?
SafeSend Organizers is a secure platform that allows clients to digitally complete their organizer and send documents to their preparers.

How do I access SafeSend?
You will receive an initial email at the email address on file for you. The email will come from “noreply@safesendreturns.com”. The subject line will be: “Please Review and Complete your Tax Organizer.” This email will contain a link to access your tax organizer Start Page.

From the SafeSend Start Page, click “Get Started” and you will receive an email access code. In order to receive the code, click “Request Access Code.” When you receive the Access Code by email, enter it in the code field and click “Continue.” The access code will bring you to the SafeSend Welcome Page where you can complete your Organizer and upload documents.

How do I navigate the SafeSend Organizer?
Complete all relevant pages of the Organizer using fillable fields.

  • Bookmarks panel is located on the left.
  • Blue navigation arrows are located on the bottom.

If your Organizer is sent to you and your spouse, edits made by each will be identified with color-coding. If you need to exit the Organizer and return later, you can click “Save & Continue Later” to save your progress and return to the Welcome Page.

Please note: if the Organizer was sent to both you and your spouse, please ensure that only one person is editing the Organizer at a time to confirm all edits are saved. 

Where can I upload support documents?
Certain pages of the Organizer will allow you to upload a corresponding support document to that page. If you do not see this section, you will not be able to upload source documents. If you have additional documents to upload, you will be able to do so at the end.

Can I provide any notes?
Each page of the Organizer has a Notes to Preparer feature on the bottom right where you can type notes which your preparer can review after submission. 

How do I officially complete my SafeSend Organizer?
If not fully complete, click “Review Missing Information”. If you are finished, click “Organizer Complete” and you will receive a pop-up notification confirming your Organizer is complete.

Please note: The pop-up notification is different if the Organizer was sent to both you and your spouse. It will include a “Send for Review” button if you would like to send to your spouse to review the Organizer or an “Organizer Complete” button if you are done with your Organizer.

How do I ensure that all information and documents are sent to Jack W Olds & Company?
Once all tax source documents have been uploaded, click the “Notify Tax Professional” button to submit.
